Did my friend buy a fake Rolex?!?

    I think it's something to do with how the name "Seagull" translates. I think 🤔 it's "Sea-Gull" to turn a few heads. Beautiful movement. Your friend, Jeff.

    I like many others here I think follow or watch others that do these repairs to watches on RUclips. From the time I discovered Stian and his channel I knew this guy was on another level. Unmatched abilities to tackle anything it seems when things or "snags" arise. I've said it before, I cannot believe this channel doesn't have many more subscribers than it does. With his Discord community and the ability to have him as a knowledge base for the hobbyist is unmatched here on RUclips. This is why I only support this channel. Unbelievable job as always. You are the man and the TRUE professional. I am proud to be here as a supporter. Dave

    I've always wondered how much it costs to fix such a watch. I actually have a 1950s Monarch triple calendar watch that is missing the crown but seems to have the stem in it still(crown broke off it seems to me) The case has seen better days but the dial looks immaculate to me. The crystal has some deep scratches in it so it makes it appear like the dial has damage due to shadows from the scratchs and so forth but I don't think it does. The pushers work to change the month and date. What does fixing such a watch usually cost?

    • @VintageWatchServices
      @VintageWatchServices 6 дней назад

      There's not really any usual cost in old watches as snags might pop up where you least expect them, but the base service cost would be some 400 euros. Then it's a question of how much else needs to be done.
